DOCTOR WHO: Everything You Need to Know About ASYLUM OF THE DALEKS

Finally, after a really quite long break, Doctor Who is back tonight with the first of five episodes that make up the first part of series seven. And in tonight’s series opener, Asylum of the Daleks, we’ll meet every Dalek ever made, enter the Asylum of the Daleks, and watch the beginning of the end for Amy and Rory Pond, the Doctor’s companions since 2010. So, to celebrate the premiere of Asylum of the Daleks, here’s all you need to know about the series 7 opener:


UK – Tonight at 7.20pm on BBC One

US – Tonight at 9/8C on BBC America

Canada – Tonight at 8pm on SPACE

Australia – Saturday 8 September at 7.30pm on ABC1/5am tomorrow on the ABC website

New Zealand – Thursday 13 September on Prime


Kidnapped by his oldest foe, the Doctor is forced on an impossible mission – to a place even the Daleks are too terrified to enter… the Asylum.

A planetary prison confining the most terrifying and insane of their kind, the Doctor and the Ponds must find an escape route. But with Amy and Rory’s relationship in meltdown, and an army of mad Daleks closing in, it is up to the Doctor to save their lives, as well as the Pond’s marriage.
