This time the murderer of childhood nostalgia has re-joined the evil forces of Pepsi-Co for a new marketing campaign coinciding with the 3D re-release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.
Star Wars was the pinnacle of film success at one point in time. It was the perfect combination of visual effects and an engaging story, but now it’s just a cheap marketing tool.
I’m gonna go ahead and stop myself before I go down that familiar road of fanboy rants and raves…an argument with which I’m sure we’re all very familiar and very, very weary of. What do you guys think? Sound off below.
