Wreck-it Ralph Sequel Looks to Include Mario

Wreck-it Ralph was the surprise hit of the year. I remember how cool the trailer was, showing Bowser, Dr. Eggman, Bison, and a Ghost from Pac Man all in the same room! Sonic the Hedgehog also got to appear. Cameos aside, some even call it the best film of the year. It’s no surprise that a sequel is being talked about.

“Some of the big muckety-muckets at the studio, who I just saw the other night, were like ‘We’re talking sequel!’” says John C. Reilly

But the biggest thing is the following quote from Director Rich Moore.

“We’ll really come up with something good for Mario to do. To be able to present him in the sequel, would be great.”

It’s interesting to remember that Mario wasn’t included not cause Nintendo denied, rather a role couldn’t be found. So who knows, maybe in the sequel we’ll finally get a real Mario and Sonic crossover.
