Who Does J.J. Abrams Want To Lead STAR WARS EPISODE VII?

The hotly-anticipated Star Wars Episode VII is set to begin filming sometime early next year, so obviously director J.J. Abrams and the folks at Disney are looking to cast the movie sooner or later. Latino Review report that they know who’s being eyed for a role in the movie, and it’s none other than Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

The actor previously worked with Abrams in 2006’s Mission: Impossible III so they have a connection – however other than that his most famous role is on the TV series The Tudors (the same show that Henry Cavill originated from). It’s unclear who he’s set to play but he has the appearance of a character like Anakin or a Sith; Jacen Solo perhaps?

Take this all with a grain of salt for now, but what do you think? Do you think Rhys Meyers would fit into Star Wars Episode VII? Share your thoughts below.
