THE LONE RANGER Fails To Make An Impact At The BOX OFFICE

Disney’s The Lone Ranger has failed to impress at the Box Office after only taking in $9.6 million in North America on Wednesday. This did increase, just not by very much. On the 4th of July there was a rise of only 1% in ticket sales.

Opening around the 4th of July wasn’t Disney’s greatest idea, the average movie goer wouldn’t care about seeing The Lone Ranger when it’s time to celebrate freedom. Even here, the staff of UTF went out for a Barbecue and gazed at the fireworks, BAD IDEA Disney. This comes as Disney’s second major flop, the first being John Carter.
