It’s not all superheroes and sci-fi this summer. Hidden away at the back end of the summer season, there’s The Bourne Legacy, the fourth installment in the thinking man’s action series, which stars Jeremy ‘Hawkeye’ Renner. Legacy‘s been spotlighted on the cover of the new issue of British film magazine Empire, and you can have a look at that cover (and the subscribers-only cover, which looks uncannily like a Rolex advert), below:
The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.
The Bourne Legacy hits cinemas on August 10 (oh, it’s been pushed back, in case you didn’t know).
