Sonic Finally Hitting The Big Screen in Wreck-It-Ralph

Finally Sonic on the big screen!

As you may have guessed we are really REALLY excited for Disney’s new animated film, Wreck-It-Ralph, here at UTF. Everything we have heard about the film so far has our inner Fanboys doing merry little jigs of joy, and this latest announcement has only added to our anticipation.

As part of the deal in bringing Sonic to the big screen, Ralph himself will also appear in Sonic’s next video game outing; Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The chairman of Sega of America Masanao Maeda had this to say about the upcoming swap deal; “Wreck-It Ralph will make a great addition to our stellar cast in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Disney has created a unique film experience that will appeal to gamers of all ages, and our video game collaboration will give fans the opportunity to interact with their character on the small screen as well.”

Wreck-It-Ralph is really shaping up well and we already think it will be the best video game movie ever (despite not actually being based on a game), even though rumours have recently been circulating regarding the lack of Mario and Luigi in the film we still have our fingers crossed that it’s only misdirection as Bowser was seen in the trailer…. Now lets just hope its small podgy 80’s Sonic that we’re getting and not the “bad ass attitude” modern Sonic…
