New Universal Logo Video Is Surprisingly Epic… and Strangely Heartwarming

We’ve seen our fair share of new logos this year, from the shockingly awful DC fiasco (seriously, the 2005 design was the best comic logo BY FAR!) to the beautifully crafted Paramount redesign. Well, Universal Studios decided to take a stab at this whole transformative zeitgeist for their 100th anniversary, and the result was pretty damn epic. They’ve even taken it a step further, and placed their new logo animation in a video with all of their previous ones, which is just brimming with Hollywood nostalgia. For some damn reason I can’t help but feel misty when watching this clip, but hey, I’m a movie fanatic… I can let out a teary eyed “Awwww!” if I want to!
