New Expendables 2 Posters (Arnold’s Back!)

Just released are these 12 new Expendables 2 posters, featuring more testosterone than a Gold’s Gym on “Free Steroids Day”. It’s worth noting that this will be Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first major film role since leaving the Governator’s office in California. And damn, is this 90’s action movie fanboy excited, despite the reported PG-13 rating mandated by Chuck Norris’ involvement. Can we please put the old Norris jokes out to pasture now? Any dude who’s not OK with a hard-R, isn’t worthy of the macho praise. Check these nice character sheets out:

Directed by Simon West (CON AIR, THE MECHANIC), the testosterone-filled follow-up to the 2010’s hit actioner Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Liam Hemsworth, Scott Adkins, Yu Nan and Charisma Carpenter. Tennis player Novak Djokovic also makes an appearance in the film. Lionsgate will release THE EXPENDABLES 2 on August 17.

Synopsis: THE EXPENDABLES are reunited when Mr. Church (Willis) enlists the renegades to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney (Stallone) and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, THE EXPENDABLES are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time – six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world.
