Is That Misty Knight on the Set of X-MEN: DAYS OF THE FUTURE PAST?

New photos from the Montreal Set of X-Men: Days of Future Past show Mystique beside an actress that resembles the iconic character Misty Knight. Knight is a bionically enhanced detective with martial arts skills that rocks a mean afro.

Knight is a strong heroine that breaks out of the stereotypical female role in comics because she has never needed a male to rescue her. The character is often critiqued for being heavily influenced by the Blaxploitation films of the 1970’s, but let’s face it, the Blaxploitation films of the 1970’s were heavily influenced by comic superheroes- so that critique is flawed and Misty Knight rules.

A lot of people are very excited for a Misty Knight appearance, and I hate to destroy their hopes… but I really doubt that is her. I don’t think FOX owns the rights to Misty Knight.  I would bet my money that the female pictured is one of Mystique’s shape shifting identities.

What would make these pictures very interesting is if this is a case of color-blind casting. Part of this movie takes place in the 1970’s,so the costume may not be much of a hint; that could be anyone. If this is color-blind casting, who do you think that character is?
