Harrison Ford Set To Return As Han Solo For STAR WARS EPISODE VII

Despite this being fairly obvious, it looks as if Harrison Ford has signed a deal to reprise his role as Han Solo in the hotly-anticipated Star Wars Episode VII. Details on the project are scarce at the moment, but J.J. Abrams is set to direct and Michael Arndt is penning the script.

The ever-reliable Latino Review report that Ford will definitely be returning, and if that’s true then it shouldn’t be too long until we get confirmation on this, and whether Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will be coming back as Luke and Leia respectively.

The topic on whether the original trio would return has been subject to much debate amongst fans  – some say they want a nostalgic sequel with their childhood heroes on the big screen, but others say that they want an entirely new cast and the film to be set many years into the future. It looks as if the latter group aren’t getting their wish.
