Truth be told this one’s actually been in development hell since the 90’s now, but it’s finally gaining some traction. Bloody Disgusting report that Warner Bros. negotiations with Steven Spielberg’s production company Amblin Entertainment have come through, and the studio have hired Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and the Fantastic Four reboot scribe Seth Grahame-Smith to produce alongside David Katzenburg.
Despite not growing up in the 80’s Gremlins was one of my favourite films to watch as a kid and while I think it’s awesome we get to see Gizmo and co on screen one more time, it’s sad that it isn’t in the form of a third instalment. Plus, the team they already have on this movie doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence. What do you think? Will you be watching the Gremlins remake? Share your thoughts below.
