David Goyer Kinda Confirms He’s Penning JUSTICE LEAGUE

We just brought you the news that Zack Snyder and David Goyer were back on board to work on a Man of Steel sequel, and now it seems Goyer himself has confirmed he’ll be writing the script for Warner Bros’ long-in-development Justice League adaptation. The movie was previously being fast-tracked for a 2015 release with Gangster Squad writer Will Beall starting work on the script last summer. However, when the studio execs read the script and realised it was a piece of shit the movie went into development hell… Again.

The Deadline story confirming the duo’s involvement in a MOS sequel also said Goyer’s deal included JL, saying this:

Goyers’ deal is part of a huge 3-picture deal he signed at Warners Bros for Man Of Steel, the sequel, and Justice League with Superman.

If you needed any more confirmation, Latino-Review’s Kelvin (who was on the red carpet last night for the film’s premiere) overheard the writer saying himself that he would be penning the script. Check that out below:

Well… That’s not exactly confirmation, since it’s overhearing something one guy said at a very crowded and busy high-profile film premiere but you get the idea. I think pretty much everyone who follows DC news closely had guessed Goyer would write their big-screen answer to The Avengers, given his track record with the studio, but it’s nice to see some extra confirmation anyway.

What do you think? Do you want to see David Goyer write Justice League, and if not, who? Share your thoughts below.
