Captain America 2 Shooting Location Revealed?

It seems as if North Carolina seems to be a bit of a favourite filming location around Marvel Studios. Latino Review are saying that Marvel are going to film Captain America 2 in North Carolina, also where Iron Man 3 is currently finishing up filming. The sequel will begin shooting in Jaunary 2013, preceded by Thor 2‘s filming schedule which runs from August to December.

Turns out, North Carolina politics confirmed a rumor we heard. Seems that the tax breaks for productions are set to expire and the legislative bodies of North Carolina need to scramble to extend them by next Tuesday or watch them expire on January 1st, 2014. yesterday State Rep. Danny McComas said extending the credit could help North Carolina score the sequel to ‘Captain America: The First Avenger.’

Plot details are still extremely thin, but with SDCC coming up and a confirmed appearance from Marvel Studios it’s likely that more news on this and Marvel’s other projects will be released then. Anyway, what do you think? Sound off below!
