Anthony Daniels Returning As C-3PO In STAR WARS EPISODE VII?!

We know the big three (Hamill, Fisher and Ford) are practically confirmed to return as Luke, Han and Leia in Star Wars Episode VII, and Billy Dee Williams has also been asked to return as Lando, but what about our two favourite droids? In an interview with Digital Spy (confirming his involvement in Star Wars Celebration this July in Germany), C-3PO himself Anthony Daniels strongly hinted that he’s been asked to reprise the role of the lovable protocol droid. Read what he had to say below:

“I’m certainly not sitting by the phone, but it’s always nice when it rings. Do you know what I mean?”

He then went on to talk about Disney’s acquisition of LucasFilm:

 “It never occurred to me that it would happen. Everybody’s really happy that Disney have taken over the mantle. Kathy Kennedy is so well loved and she is carrying George Lucas’s torch so much further.”
