Another Close Look at the Aliens In The Avengers

Figuring out the identity of the mysterious aliens in The Avengers has been an unending task for us here at the offices of UTF. Every time we think we’ve nailed it, Marvel throws another kink in our plans, but today we might be able to finally solve the case! Or, at least, maybe.

The House of Ideas unveiled a series of closeup photos depicting their extra-terrestrial nemeses. Ahh, but the catch? Well, they’re closeups of the LEGO toys, and not of the actual film versions, but it still gives us a chance to finally figure out who they are. Check out the pics below…

Well, they’re not very Skrull like, which was the popular assertion, are they? A recent internet rumor suggests that they might be a particularly unremarkable class of villains known as the Knights of Wundagore, creations of the High Evolutionary. They certainly look the part, but I don’t think Marvel would go with such a mediocre antagonist. In all honesty, I think they’re probably Kree, but hey, that’s just me!
