Twitch are reporting that Hong Kong movie star Andy Lau is in final negotiations with Marvel to appear in Iron Man 3, alongside a star-studded cast. Just earlier today we received word that Jessica Chastain is in talks to play Maya Hansen (a love interest of Tony Stark in Extremis, in which the movie is based on). Before all of you scream Mandarin, I’m going to say that he will NOT be Mandarin. Lau is playing a good guy, “a Chinese scientist who comes to the aid of his old buddy Tony Stark by providing him with some new tech that will help him battle Ben Kingsley’s villain, but more importantly Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce) and his Extremis biotechnology.”
