Winterworld #5 Review

A world where everything is Winter, our hero’s barely escaped being sacraficed but when one thing ends another danger will come. Read on to find out more.

Great Jumping-on Point! Scully, Wynn and Rah-Rah are on foot without food or shelter in a brutal world where death stalks their every step. Their vehicle has been stolen by a mystery woman and killing cold, starvation, giant predators and a mountain range won’t stop them from getting it back! A new arc begins with the rich, illustrative artwork of Tomas Giorello! Bring your woolies, it’s going to be a long, cold winter!

So this is the perfect starting point for anyone that wants to get into this comic. I know that it is only a couple issues long but if you can’t find them, then go for this issue. It starts with the events of the last issue put behind them but new and different dangers are coming towards them. We have the world around them and there is a mysterious woman is becomes a part of our characters lives that may be apart of a bigger though that is to come later. There is, also, some predators that are on the hunt and may cause problems for our characters. Overall, I really like the comic but I don’t like that it doesn’t really go back to anything or figure out stuff in the past. It is difficult because I don want some help understanding some of the things in the past.

Tomas Giorello( artist) and Chuck Dixon (Writer) work really well together and understand what they are having to make. I was worried because with such a white colored comic, I thought it would be boring but its visually and lyrically stimulating.. You should be checking this comic out for, both, of these guys.

Winterworld #5 doesn’t go back but moves forward to a new arc.
