Sheltered #12 Review

Safe Haven is a getting crazier and crazier and now the real world is getting wind of everything. Will this be the end of Safe Haven? Read on to find out.

THE COUNTDOWN TO THE END CONTINUES. The outside world is closing in and the two factions fighting within the gates of Safe Haven have turned their sanctuary into a war zone. The end of the world is now the LEAST of their concerns.

Oh boy! I couldn’t put this issue down, not in the least bit. It is really an Sheltered_12-1awesome comic that is full of twists and turns that really makes this comic book worth while. The issue starts with the cops discovering the dead body of one of our kids and Curt. They don’t know what is really going. Victoria and Tab escaped and they spill the beans to the cops. It is really nice that they have an internal struggle with telling the police and their loyal. It is very well written and very comforting to know that they chose the right way. It shows that humanity may not be completely gone from the children. Then we go to Safe Haven, where the kids are preparing. I won’t go any further because I wish not to spoil the ending. Although, I do see where this is going but I am sure thedre will be some twists and turns.

Ed Brisson continues to do an amazing job of writing this series. There is enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of you seat. It is, also, the characters in this series that make it shine. You want to see them succeed no matter what and want to see them have a long life.

Johnnie Christmas is a fantastic artist. You really get the message and the ideas behind the panels because of the artistry. It is a nice change of pace to see something like this in a comic.

Sheltered #12 will keep you at the edge of your seat with its fast writing and popping art.
