SDCC: Minimum Carnage is coming!

Today, during the Amazing Spider-Man panel at Comic-Con International Cullen Bunn, the series writer for Venom, revealed Minimum Carnage .  A forthcoming two-series crossover event that would see the symbiote clad Avenger and Scarlet Spider team-up to take down the murderous Carnage.

Here’s what Cullen Bunn had to say:

Carnage is the worst case scenario for both Venom and Scarlet Spider in different ways.

At the beginning of this story, Carnage gets the chance to make all his dreams come true. All he has to do is kill a universe.

Following the announcement Marvel released three covers showcasing the October event.

There you have it, Carnage is back and he’s going to try and make his sadistic dreams come true.  Hopefully Venom and Scarlet Spider can put aside any potential differences, and work together to stop him.  Especially considering that Cullen Bunn said the mandate for this arc is that this is a problem that these two struggling heroes will have to deal with on their own.

So what do you guys think?  Are you anxious to read this mini-event in October?  Or is this a waste of time?  Sound off with your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
