SDCC: Arrow casts Kelly Hu as China White

Some casting news from the forthcoming Arrow, Kelly Hu the model turned actor best-known for her turn as Lady Deathstrike in X2: X-Men United (or some fanboys may remember her from Surf Ninjas) or even more appropriately the sorceress from The Scorpion King, will be playing a villain named: China White.

For any fans who don’t know who that is, she’s a character that was first introduced in Green Arrow: Year One. The villain is a heroin importer who gets into conflict with our Robin Hood-esque billionaire playboy when Oliver Queen is marooned on an island that happens to be her base of operations.  Don’t you just hate when that happens?

Arrow premieres October 10th on the CW, starring Stephen Amell, Colin Donnell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Susanna Thompson and Paul Blackthorne.
