Minimum Wage #3 Review

What is going on with Rob and Mary in this week’s issue of Minimum Wage? Read on to find out!

“Rob and May reach an unforeseen milestone in their relationship, but that’s nothing compared to his chance encounter with the eccentric co-star of one of his favorite childhood TV shows. Uncomfortable hugs, inappropriate cabbies, obese Klingons, and really creepy puppets flesh out the third issue of BOB FINGERMAN’s so-real-it-hurts series.”

The series that says “so-real-it hurts” gets even more real in this issue of Minimum MinimumWage_03-1Wage! This series is so funny and hilarious but with a very real charm that makes it worth the read. The one nice thing about this issue is the dynamic of May and Rob. The have a lot going on because of everything that has happened between them. However, the relationship gets played down because of the fact that a child hood hero of Rob’s, who adds a fun and interesting dynamic to the situation. However, the highlight of the issue is all the different characters that are encountered throughout the issue that make for a fun and exciting ride that will make you feel but , also, smile for the issue.

The main character of Rob is fantastic. He is so real and believable that you feel that he could be someone you really know.  This is all thanks to the writer’s abilities. Every time that the issue goes through, it is a real treat to see what is coming to a character who is lovely and real.

The art is very well as well. I have to say that with a series like this, you could easily over exaggerate the way the characters look and deals with things, however, there is a great balance of the comic book that works with the writing.

Minimum Wage is a story full of charm and heart that is worth the read! I recommend it fully!
