Great Pacific #17 Review

The hunt is going on and Baston is hot on the trail, but our hero has some tricks up his sleeves. Read on to find out more.

‘BIG GAME HUNTERS,’ Part Three New Texas has been conquered and the unrelentingly cruel Baston plans one, final hunt in order to break the spirit of Chas Worthington’s supporters. It’s a race between hunter and prey across the Garbage Patch – and the quarry is Chas himself!

Okay, so this new arch has been people hunting people and there is just tons of crazy stuff that GreatPacific17-Cover-7768ehappens but this is the beginning of the end. The issue starts with Baston finding someone who is not dead but close and figuring out that Chas is a formidable game to hunt. It is crazy. We have some big reveals that I won’t spoil but we do get to see that Chas may have a plan up his sleeve and will become the leader that he has been wanting to become. It is very refreshing and works in this issue because it keeps the pace moving and allows us to see how the character does under extreme pressure such as this. You will really enjoy this issue.

Joe Harris does a great job of creating atmosphere and developing a story under great pressure. There is not one moment when the character gets to breathe but it doesn’t move to fast that you don’t get any of the new story. It is very great.

Martin Morazzo paints a picture that is both very clear and exuberant. The landscapes are quick and adds a dynamic to the story. The colors pop off the page and really bring out the best in the comic. It allows us to really see how the character feels and the environment that they are in.

Great Pacific #17 is quick, fun, and scary.
