Dead@17: The Blasphemy Throne #3 Review

Nara is coming back but is there enough time to be able to make things right? Read on to find out more.

A long-awaited reunion with an old friend becomes bittersweet when Nara discovers the true depths of Pitch’s evil.

Dead @ 17 has been a very interesting series and the newest and final deadat17_03part of the series has been a fantastic story so far. Okay, so this issue is very quick and works well for what is going on in this series. Nara is awesome character but since she has been gone the world has not been doing well. We, also, have Pitch who is just an evil doer, who is just the worse kind. It doesn’t seem that there isn’t anything that he wont do. However, in all the evil there is some hope with Mel and our other hero. Overall, it is still a great addition to the comic. There is a reunited couple that really made my heart flutter in so many ways. It is a nice scene and it really give Nara a moment of happiness before having to go and kick some ass. The other part of this is that the ending is very intense and you have to wonder what is really going to happen. It, also, isn’t super clear who is making the call in the order.

Josh Howard does a great job  with writing this series and doing all of the art for it. I have said this before that it is something great when a writer and artist are the same.  The issue is thought provoking while still just being a fun and intense comic book. I can’t wait to see how he is going to continue this and what’s next. It is just a great one.

Nara is such a good character while making being fantastic in the world.
