Bob’s Burgers #2 Review

What is happening with the ridiculous Belcher family? Read on to find out more.

In the second issue of the Bob’s Burgers comic book we bring you 5 new stories from the Belchers. Tina’s Erotic Friend Fiction goes galactic; Bob jots down burgers to live by; Louise investigates a case of textbook tomfoolery; Linda looks out for her furry friends; and Gene presents a musical re-imagine-actment of the story of Mozart and Salieri called “Genemadeus”

Okay, so this issue is just as ridiculous if not more than the show and the previous issue and I love it. Let’s star at BobsBurgers02-Cov-Umbleby-5629athe beginning, with Tina’s story. In Tina’s erotic friend fiction, she shows us the true mean of dance with a star wars meets flashdance scenario and it is fantastic. Then with Bob’s Burger list, we get burgers that are with the ten commandments and they are hilarious especially the burger with 10 condiments. Linda to a trash place about the their role in hurting stray animals and works really well with the rest or the story. Gene deals with a musical about Amadeus and not stealing people’s work. But the best is Louise’s story about defacing library property and figuring out who is stealing her flame? Overall, the stories are pretty great and fun.

The writing is awesome and continues to feel like the show. Chad BrewsterJustin HookRachel HastingsMike Olsen , and Jeff Drake do a fantastic job of recreating the show but adding their own twist to the story. It is very smart and works well. They create and save the voice of the show.

Tony GennaroFrank ForteTyler GarrisonRobin Brigstocke Steven Theis , and Hector Reynoso recreate the color of the show and it does a fantastic job of keeping the characters the same but allowing their own artistic passion shine through it is awesome.

Bob’s Burger’s #2 is a odd but wonderful addition.
