Another “This Is War” teaser from Marvel

Today Marvel sent UTF another teaser, promoting their upcoming story arc or possible event reveal.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m a sucker for good old comic book speculation.  They’re fun and more often than not it’s more entertaining to dissect them, than it is to actually find out what the final product is .  These teasers for “This Is War” all show key members of the current Avengers team (or items that reference them) battered from battle, this latest one features Iron Man.

I know this might feel like it’s too soon, especially considering the fact that all the Avengers are currently fighting the X-Men in Marvel‘s latest summer event series, but you know that will inevitably lead into the next big thing.  I’m of the thought that the Phoenix came to Earth not to destroy or cleanse it, but to battle something that’s coming.

This is pure speculation on my part, but I always figured this event was just be a stepping stone towards a cosmic level threat.  But I guess only time will tell. I’m inclined to think this is all about the long awaited Ultron War, but what do you guys think?  Are you excited about another epic storyline, or is it just too soon?  Sound off with your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
