Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Special Edition Unveiled

Highly anticipated collaboration between developer Level-5 and renowned animation house Studio Ghibli is coming to the west this January, and the special ‘Wizard’ edition has just been unveiled.

This RPG is stunningly beautiful, with gorgeous visuals and a breath taking soundtrack from Ghibli staple Joe Hisashi. It tells the tale of a boy Oliver and his companion Drippy as he attempts to resurrect his deceased mother. Namco Bandai have announced the ‘Wizard’s Edition’ coming to the EU and Australasia (no word on America yet but it’s likely it’s on it’s way). This edition will include:

A Plush Doll of Drippy

Exclusive DLC monster companions for the game ‘Golden Mite’ and ‘Golden Drongo’

300+ Page Hardcover book.

The book will feature a history of the world, full beastiary, in depth item and spell descriptions. Depending on where you pre-order two additional companions are available to you, ‘Flutterbye’ and ‘Griffy’ designed specifically for the western release, though which stores haven’t been announced. This game is certainly one to keep on your radar’s and as a Ghibli fan myself I think I might shell out the extra bucks for the art book.
