Well guys E3 is coming up quickly and the rumors and excitement are indeed building.  Last year Nintendo made some waves when they announced their new video game system, the Wii U.    Despite the name the promised launch line-up and the technology of the forthcoming console succeeded in impressing fans but the controller left a lot of people underwhelmed.

So flash forward to today and IGN reported on this:

In a photo tweeted by a QA tester at Telltale Games, Wii U’s tablet controller appears to have proper analog sticks in place of the sliders shown during E3 2011.

When comparing this image to the controller from last year the joysticks are not the only things different.  Some of the buttons have been moved as the the plus and minus buttons are now on the right side of the device, there’s a Wii U logo on bottom left and the microphone has now been cenetered.

So if this is indeed the redesigned controller what do you guys think?  Does it look better, worse or not different enough?  Are you excited for the Wii U at all?  Sound off below!
