Greatness Awaits With Sony’s New PLAYSTATION 4 Ad

Sony has gathering a lot of good will among gamers over the last couple of days with a series of announcements at E3. They came out swinging at Microsoft with a one-two punch of a low price point and no in-built restrictions for used games. But none of that matters if the wider public don’t know what’s going on, so Sony’s marketing team have got to push hard if they want the seemingly crushing victory the internet is expecting come launch day.

I would say they’re off to a good start with the release of their new Greatness Awaits ad. This is the ad that’s script was leaked a month ago, but Sony played it safe and took out the line saying “You who could get away with murder”, changing it to the more elaborate and less direct phrase “You who could rescind life.”

The ad features a lot of fan service and has had a positive reaction from Sony fanboys across the internet. With only 300,000 views on Youtube however, it’s yet to be seen how the general public will react.
