Geek God Neil Gaiman Is Making A Game!

Neil Gaiman has dabbled in just about every realm of geekdom, and his quality writing has found him great success. He’s written one of the most celebrated comic series of all time in The Sandman. He’s written one of the most celebrated episodes of Doctor Who (from the modern incarnation) in The Doctor’s Wife. He’s written some of the best fantasy since the new Millenium, in American Gods and The Ocean At The End Of The Lane. For his next trick, he’s moving on to video games!

Wayward Manor is set to be Gaiman’s debut foray into the video game world. He’ll be working with The Odd Gentlemen, the team behind ‘The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom’. Here’s Neil to explain it more succinctly than I ever could:

It will be a puzzle/adventure game in which you play as a grumpy ghost, trying to boot the new, living owners out of your home. If you want free reign over your mansion once again, you must uncover their deepest anxieties and drive them mad with fear using your wits and their hideous belongings.

The first part of the adventure is coming to PC and tablets this fall. You can preorder it at  http://www.WhoHauntsNeil.com.
