English Trailer for Latest Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Released


The Pokemon video game series is still going strong, with no ending in sight, thanks to high game sales, a popular anime series, and about 5 dozen manga series. Despite the popularity, the spin-off games are usually left by the way-side….with the exception of the Mystery Dungeon series. Nintendo has released a trailer for the latest game in the sub-series, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates of Infinity. The trailer shows off gameplay for all five playable Pokemon (Pikachu, Snivy, Oshawott, Tepig, and Axew) and some DLC content.

Gates to Infinity, which is the third installment in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game series, will be released in North America March 24 for the Nintendo 3DS. The game came out in Japan November 23, 2012. In the game, players can travers through “infinite dungeons”, where they can fight and befriends various Pokemon. The game can also make use of the 3DS technology, such as scanning objects in the real world that can help open dungeons in the game.

The Pokemon franchise, which was created by Satoshi Tajiri, and Nintendo publishes the various video games. In anime series has been running in Japan since 1997, and the series currently airs on Cartoon Network in the United States. The franchise is a multi-million dollar franchise.

I myself don’t have much interest in Mystery Dungeon, but I know some people who prefer it to the main series.
