I’m Still Pissed at HBO, but This “Red Wedding” Featurette Is a Nice Apology

You’re probably still reeling from the blood soaked mayhem in the latest episode of GAME OF THRONES, but to make you feel a bit better (or to rub it in your face), HBO’s released this awesome behind the scenes featurette of that terrible Red Wedding. Featuring show creator David Benioff’s surprisingly insightful commentary, the video carefully explains the process of filming the scene, the emotions on set, and the damn shock of it all.

Robb Stark was my absolute favorite character in the series (besides that random giant we saw walking by in an earlier episode this season… that dude was cool), and if there was any reason to change George R. R. Martin’s original story, it’s to feed my fan cravings!

Now… I’m not saying I won’t watch the series anymore. No, I don’t think I could ever be that pissed, but I’m definitely not going to invest as much emotion in a Stark character. I think I’ll cheer for #TeamLannister for a while. Those bastards never seem to die.
