SNIKT!!! Hugh Jackman’s New Look for THE WOLVERINE

With a couple of days of proper filming under his belt, it looks like Hugh Jackman is back in the swing of slicing and dicing as our favorite rough neck mutie, Wolverine.

The mutton chopped actor is currently on set at a reconstructed Japanese POW camp in Kurnell, Australia, and he took a few minutes to smile for photographers, which resulted in these infectiously delightful pics.

His hair isn’t quite as gel-tastic as it was in the original X-Men trilogy, but yet still coiffed enough to convey the ” I’m the best there is at what I do “ gruff.

All X-Men Origins induced pessimism aside, I think The Wolverine could be the surprise critical hit of 2013 (in regards to superhero flicks). What do you think?

I agree. Although… there was an awesome article a while back titled “Marvel Movies in the 80′s” or something like that.

How would the Marvel films look if they were made in the 80′s? Harvey Keittel’s Wolvie was pretty impressive.

As much as I love X-Men movies, I wouldn’t watch one with any other actor playing Wolverine than Hugh Jackman. He embodies the look and attitude of the character perfectly.

I agree that Hugh has made a fantastic wolverine up until his last film in 2009 X-Men Origins: Wolverine which was horrible! Considering how many wolverine films he has been in, i think it would not have been a bad idea to find someone new for the role and give it a total fresh reboot ala Man of Steel. Plenty of actors out there and i think a rated R version of Wolverine with proper blood n guts would be something we all need. That however is probably wishful thinking but..
