I think we all know that Joss Whedon has done a lot for Marvel Studios and us as fan boys and girls. I am a bit skeptical about his idea for Avengers: Age of Ultron, with not having Hank Pym as the creator of Ultron but I will pass judgement when the movie comes out. It seems Joss has alot to do with Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but what about past that. It seems that Joss Whedon’s future in Marvel isn’t totally in stone. In a recent interview, Kevin Feige, was asked about Whedon’s involvement in Phase 3:

“It’s still being determined. All of his efforts right now are in what he’s doing for us primarily, obviously, writing and prepping Age of Ultron but also in reading the drafts of the films in phase 2, watching early cuts and a) to inform him where the characters are going to end up in the beginning of Age of Ultron and also to get his input and his wisdom into all of these. But right now it’s all about leading up to Age of Ultron.”

And with the official announcement from Marvel and Disney about Whedon stating:joss-whedon

“Joss Whedon has signed an exclusive deal with Marvel Studios for film and television through the end of June 2015. As part of that deal, Whedon will write and direct Marvel’s The Avengers 2 as well as help develop a new live action series for Marvel Television at ABC.  He will also contribute creatively to the next phase of Marvel’s cinematic universe.”

It doesn’t say anything past Phase Two. I mean, obviously, he knows what’s coming because everything ties together but will we see him return? Do we want him to return or do we want to see some one new? Give you comments below.
