Legolas’s Daddy THRANDUIL Revealed in New HOBBIT Photos

Have you ever wondered where Legolas got his good looks? Ignoring the brilliant effects artists at Weta, of course.

Well, in this new batch of images from Peter Jackson’s THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY, Thranduil King of Mirkwood (and Legolas’s daddy) makes his first live action appearance.

What a gorgeous, golden maned elf! Fellas, I haven’t been this sexually confused since Hanson debuted in all of their effeminate glory.

Besides ol’ Thrandy, Jackson hooked us up with a first look at Saruman in Rivendell, debating the fate of The Necromancer, no doubt.

Some long bearded dwarves,
Some short bearded dwarves,
A dwarf with red hair,
A dwarf with a brown stare,
Dwarves everywhere!

Wow… I’m genuinely sorry for that unannounced bout of terrible lyricism. Don’t hate me!  I only had Tolkien’s best interests in mind!
