Hyrule, gun fights, and the occasional tumbleweed. What do all of these things have in common?

Well, besides the DS released title Spirit Tracks (which is bawls-tastically awesome), these nifty concepts are assembled in The Game Stations’ latest short film Fistfull of Rupees.

A mighty mashup of classic Western tropes and Link’s suspiciously debonair adventures in the Legend of Zelda series, Rupees is definitely a worthy addition to the wide world of fan flicks.

Although, I was hoping for a few great cameos of the Tingle variety.

What? Am I the only one who loves that disgusting, 40 year old elf man. There’s just something about his miserly ways and ruthlessly clinging clothes that tug at my heartstrings.
