Holy Quack — DUCKTALES is Coming Back!!

You read that right fanboys and fangirls. Disney XD is doing something downright awesome for 2017, they’re ordering a new season of DuckTales. Take a moment to let that sink as the long favored series that ran for a hundred episodes and three seasons hits once again like a hurricane.

If you’re worried that the network in questions is just using the title to promote a completely different property altogether, don’t be! Because according to Deadline:

The new series will follow Scrooge McDuck, his curious and mischief-making grandnephews — Huey, Dewey and Louie — and the optimistic yet temperamental Donald Duck as they embark on high-flying adventures worldwide. Other beloved characters slated to be in the new stories are: Duckworth, Gyro Gearloose, Launchpad McQuack, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell & Poe, Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys (Burger Beagle, Bouncer Beagle), Mrs. Beakley and Webbigail Vanderquack.

And just for good measure: a trip down memory lane!

I for one am postiviely jazzed about this. But Disney can I make a request? As a man-child that grew up glued to his thirteen inch TV set watching excellent franchises like Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin and Gargoyles, the world needs a new Goof Troop show, so please make that happen after DuckTales is hugely successful!
