HBO BRINGS DOWN THE AXE, SEE WHICH SHOWS MADE THE CUT

HBO‘s been on a rampage all day as they cancel shows left and right. While fan favorites like Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire remained untouched, a slew of others were given the axe. Among the victims were Bored to Death, Hung, and How to Make It in America.

I’ve always considered HBO as my safe haven for quality programming…a break from the mind-numbing drudging of monotonous shows that network TV offers. But with this news, it looks like I have nowhere left to turn, besides AMC of course. But even there, they only offer two quality shows on a semi-regular basis: Hell on Wheels and Walking Dead.

In any case, it seems like I’ll be watching some re-runs as I hunt for another go-to network. Any suggestions?
