The Ice Warriors are back. After thirty-nine years of slumber, the Martian warriors are back for another stab at the Doctor in the third episode of this series, titled Cold War. In tonight’s episode, we’ll be meeting one of the most feared Ice Warriors out there (and there’s quite a few), travel back to the height of the Cold War… and have an inside look at an Ice Warrior. SYNOPSIS
The Doctor and Clara land on a damaged Russian Submarine in 1983 as it spirals out of control into the ocean depths. An alien creature is loose on board, having escaped from a block of Arctic ice.
With tempers flaring and a cargo of nuclear weapons on board, it’s not just the crew but the whole of humanity at stake!
