DOCTOR WHO Fans Rejoice! Season 8 Will Premiere In Theaters

If you want to catch Peter Capaldi’s premiere as The Doctor on a very big screen, you are in luck.  On August 23rd at 8pm the first episode of the season will be in theaters.  The episode entitled Deep breath has a 70 minute run time, and will be shown commercial free.  This first chance scenario will be showing at the same time as the episode premiere, guaranteeing you won’t need to worry about avoiding internet spoilers, or work on your patience skills.  This theatrical experience will also include an exclusive prologue before the feature as well as a behind the scenes feature after the credits roll.

For those who can’t make this showing it is also scheduled for the 25th at some locations, so I would advise you check your local cinema for details.  In a world of instant gratification and constant distractions from emails, texts, phone calls and the like I would strongly recommend fanboys and fangirls to make use of this opportunity.  Movie theaters in my mind are one of the few sanctuaries left from stimulus bombardment.  I go in, turn off my phone and immerse myself in story.  I’m not a complicated man, this is one of the few things I need.
