Extreme Makeover – CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Edition

No, Ty Pennington isn’t going to do a heartwarming remodel that will make you tear up like the end of Old Yeller. The full two minute trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier was released Thursday. And as I suspected it did not disappoint. It revealed just enough to reel me in hook line and sinker, and held just enough back to still leave me in suspense in regards to how closely they are going to follow the story line that the movie is based on. Whether they do or not it is still clear that this is going to be one hell of a movie on so every level.

But that is not what we are here to talk about. As with every major bit of video that has been released in recent memory, every Tom, Dick, and Harry with movie maker has started mashing up the beautiful bunch of footage that the studio has released for their own purposes. Some are turned into harmless mini trailers, or dubbed over to create ridiculous skits, and still more will be cropped into mind numbing memes that will be re-posted on Facebook until I want to gouge my eyes out with a butter knife. We did find one in particular that, while using language that Mr. Rogers probably wouldn’t approve of, is really quite apt and pretty darn funny. Enjoy.
