Kill la Kill – “A Loser I Can’t Hate”KlK 7.1

“A Loser I Can’t Hate” is a nice episode that spotlights Mako and her family, and also furthers the plot some. The scenes with the Makanshoku family indulging in their wealth are humorous (with some innuendo) but are also pretty sad when see the lengths Ryuko and Mako have to go to keep it, and Ryuko’s growing loneliness. Also Mako’s Goku uniform design is pretty legit.

Galilei Donna – “Galileo Tesoro”GD 6.1

“Galileo Tesoro” continues to take Galilei Donna down its darker path with the explanation of the Black Ganymede crew & Roberto’s back stories as well as all the killing Roberto does. While the sisters were basically just there until the end, it was nice to get some insight into the other players in the game.

Beyond the Boundary – “Color of Clouds”BTB 7.9

“Color of Clouds” is a good episode to bring us right back into the main plot of the story. Mirai & Sakura reconcile nicely and their fight scene is pretty nice to look at with some great animation and some nice shots. There are also a few humorous moments sprinkled in and some pretty nice foreshadowing.
