Anime Apps Heading For Playstation 3


For all you anime fans out there, I’m sure you’re familiar with Crunchyroll and Neon Alley, for those who aren’t they are two subscription based streaming sites that allow you to watch a wide variety of anime uncut and in HD where possible. Later this year both sites will roll out apps for the PS3 that your existing subscriptions will work for.

Leading anime streaming service Crunchyroll specialize in popular anime and Korean drama, as such they will have a $6.95 per month model for all anime and simulcasts, a $6.95 per month model for all Korean drama and simulcasts and an all encompassing $11.95 per month All-Access pass. On offer are anime such as Naruto Shippuden, Shugo Chara and Hunter X Hunter and Korean drama shows like Dr. Jing, Jumong, The King 2 Hearts and more.

Neon Alley will provide a mix of action, adventure, science fiction, supernatural, fantasy, and horror anime as some of its selections. All the anime will be uncut and dubbed in English and HD if it is available. They will show major anime such as Naruto Shippuden, Inuyasha: The Final Act and Death Note, as well as new titles such as Tiger & Bunny, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc, Zetman, Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan.
