AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Officially Picked Up By ABC

If I manage to find one person who didn’t think ABC would pick up Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., I’ll pay them £50. The news is now official, the first Marvel TV show has been picked up for season order. Joss Whedon and his brother Jed wrote the pilot, which will air this October, with the latter writer and Maurissa Tanchoen overseeing the rest of the season. So, what exactly is “Rising Tide”? Well, yesterday a short promo for the show was released online by ABC showing the Abomination’s destruction of Harlem (The Incredible Hulk) with that very title watermarked on it. The video was yanked before we got a chance to post it, but with Skye (a superhero-obsessed computer hacker in the show) described as a possible Rising Tide collaborator, could they be the villains of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?
