What will Finch do once confronted by Nailbiter? Read on to find out.

The official description from Image:

Officer Nicolas Finch doesn’t care about Buckaroo, Oregon’s serial killers or its secrets—he just wants to find his missing friend. With time running out he turns to the one man who has all the answers…the infamous Nailbiter!

Nailbiter02_Page2Nailbiter has really astounded me so far as though both of the opening issues have barely missed perfection they have came very close to it. The way that this issue goes into Nailbiter’s trial and the history of other serial killers was really interesting with the hooded figure adding mystery as well. The introduction of a new (or old) mysterious killer also added spice to the story with the connection to Nailbiter being even more intriguing.

Joshua Williamson script is once again astonishing giving a brilliant tone and atmosphere throughout. The way that he adds drama, suspense and the odd bit of tension through the dialogue also impressed, as it gave a deeper vibe to the story. I especially enjoyed the dialogue shared by Finch and Nailbiter as Williamson managed to write Nailbiter’s dialogue in a way that added a sinister tone without it being vile. On top of this Williamson also does a fabulous job of character building and along with all the other developments it has me hooked for this series future.

Mike Henderson continues to amaze me with his artwork as his gritty yet detailed style gives the perfect look for this story. The tremendous layouts also add a lot of depth to the issue with it at times adding a very intense tone. What impressed me most about Henderson’s art had to be the lively character expressions as whether it was the seriousness of Finch or the sinister grin on Nailbiter it all proved to be truly captivating.

Nailbiter continues to astound and amaze with it’s gripping yet mysterious tale captivating this reader. Highly recommended.
