WRECK-IT RALPH Director Wants To Have Tron In The Sequel

Ahead of the UK release of Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph this Friday, director Rich Moore has been making the rounds promoting the animated video game tribute. Way back when it was released in America in November it was said that the film would get a sequel, and considering the film has now grossed over $380m worldwide, earned brilliant reviews and scored a Best Animated Feature Oscar nomination, it’s safe to say that sequel is happening.

Speaking with Coming Soon, Moore revealed which character he would like toinclude in Wreck-It Ralph 2 – Tron. He’d previously said he’d like to see Mario in it (his enemy Bowser appeared in the first movie), so we could see a ton more video game cameos in the next flick. Read his comments below:

“I can’t specifically remember why that didn’t happen. Of course, with a sequel, I’m hoping that we can find a way to see Tron himself in that movie.”

Would you like to see Tron and Mario appear in a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph? Share your thoughts and watch the trailer below, and if you’re a British reader catch the movie in cinemas this Friday!
