WONDER WOMAN Rocks 4 Brutal Weapons and Comic Suit in BATMAN V SUPERMAN

We know what Superman looks like from Man of Steel, we know what Batman will look like thanks to Zack Snyder, but what we don’t know is what Wonder Woman/Diana Prince will look like.

Some reports stated that Wonder Woman will be sporting her urban redesign from Wonder Woman #600 that consisted of a leather jacket, leggings and up-to-the-elbow gauntlets.

But some new details from JoBlo reveal what Wonder Woman’s costume will look like, what weapons she will use and how much screen time the Amazonian princess will have.

Spoilers will follow…

Wonder Woman’s costume:

The design of the costume will very much be Amazonian warrior princess as we have previously been led to believe by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice costume designer, Michael Wilkinson.

JoBlo says the costume “is ripped from the comics” much in the same way Ben Affleck’s Batman costume has been incredibly faithful to the comic books. She will wear a blue leather skirt, silver-armored cuffs that go up to her elbows, golden tiara and a variation of the traditional red top.

The term “badass” has been used to describe the costume multiple times and reportedly, Warner Bros. are very pleased with the costume’s design.

Wonder Woman’s weapons:

Diana will have more than just the golden lasso. She will have no less than FOUR weapons including a shield, sword, spear and the Lasso of Truth. She’s also going to be wearing the shield on her back, Captain America-style, when not in use.

Wonder Woman’s screen time:

Wonder Woman “will have a fair amount of screen time” and will actually team up with Batman and Superman for the final battle against an as-of-yet unknown villain who will be working for or controlled by Lex Luthor.

She will be introduced as Diana in the beginning of the film before she appears as Wonder Woman and her origin will be intentionally vague which leaves some room for her own solo film in the future.

Batman and Bat-stuff:

We know that Ben Affleck’s Batman will be a veteran crime fighter in Batman v Superman, but JoBlo adds that he is a crime fighter who “will do anything it takes to get the job done”, which will put him at odds with Superman who is describe as “a rule follower”.

I don’t agree with JoBlo’s description of Superman especially since the Man of Steel version has been portrayed as standing in opposition to the US military and the military-industrial complex.

But what is probably more accurate is the report that although Wayne Manor exists, Bruce Wayne chooses to live on the estate in a modern-look cottage by a lake. Underneath this cottage will be the Batcave which will house a Batwing, the Batmobile and other Bat-stuff. This is supported by reports that Zack Snyder has ordered the construction of a cottage near a lake in Michigan.

Lex Luthor:

Lex Luthor (who is being reported to have long blonde hair at the beginning of the film) believes himself to be god’s gift to humanity which explains his hatred for Superman. Superman’s existence as a demi-god makes Lex feel less than perfect which leads him to try to turn the public against Superman and to an extent, this works. Some people see Superman as a hero, while others see him as the ultimate threat.

Still no word or details on Amy Adams’ Lois Lane, but this reporter is anxiously awaiting the inevitable moment comics journalism starts caring about the First Lady of DC Comics.
