Witness The Making of X-Men HQ In DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Bryan Singer’s still Tweeting pics from the set of DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and this time around he’s shared with us a familiar scene from the basement of Xavier’s Institute. If all of that wood work is fooling you, that’s the main hallway for all the X-Men’s super secret activities, and that door at the very end looks an awful lot like the entrance to Cerebro.

While I’m sure the original trilogy version will make an appearance, I wonder if Singer will show us its creation in the 1960′s timeline. Watching Beast fumble with the prototype in First Class was one of my favorite scenes from that flick. Nothing like a quick shot of retro technology to tickle my love for Cold War Sci-Fi.

The sign clearly says no smoking Wolverine! Put that stogey away!

As long as we’re musing aloud, could Cerebro have anything to do with the distorted timeline? What if Professor X delved too greedily and too deep into his hidden bag of telepathic tricks and disrupted the whole space-time continuum thingy.

I’m not saying I’m a the world’s greatest plot detective, but I am.

BTW, please make this scene a reality…
