Will Batman Get “Some” In The Dark Knight Rises?

Catwoman will be a huge part of The Dark Knight Rises (duh!), and if you know anything about this mildly villainous vixen, then you know she can get the ol’ Batman all hot and bothered. Throughout her 60 plus years of comic book lore, she’s always managed to play a rather convincing seductress, bending Bruce Wayne in her sexy lures. It wasn’t until DC’s recent relaunch, though, that they so blatantly introduced us to the two’s love life… and it was a little TOO graphic (I don’t think I ever want to see that much Bat Butt again).

Well, with their long history of ‘doing it’, you’ve got to wonder… will Christian Bale’s Batman finally get some action in TDKR? After all, he’s been a pretty celibate vigilante over the course of the last few films. The Caped Crusader is STILL just a man for God’s sake, and even a masked man has needs!

It just so happens that we’ve stumbled across TDKR‘s new classification (supposedly) and you’d be surprised how the MPAA decided to rate this flick. Check it out for yourself…

“PG-13 for Intense Sequences of Violence & Action, Some Sensuality and Language”

“Sensuality and Language”, you say? Does that mean Brucey and Selina Kyle will be knocking boots? That’d be pretty weird, considering Director Christopher Nolan‘s absence of romantic tropes in his last few films (and yes, before you even object, Rachel Dawes didn’t exactly serve as a great ‘love’). But who cares, Bats might be getting laid. All I can do is raise a gentlemanly glass of bourbon to our favorite crime fighter and say “Well played, Sir. Well played.”

So, what do you guys think? Is it likely that we’ll finally see a true romance in one of these movies (not that I’m demanding it)?

I dunno, it seems awfully early for a legitimate rating to be out. Its first assuming that Nolan has a final cut and then that its been presented to and replied on by the MPAA. We’ve got over three months until the Dark Knight Rises hits the streets; thats three months that the storyline and special effects can be polished and revised along with over dubbing of lines, reshoots etc.. I know its a given that Warner Bros., Legendary Pictures and probably even Nolan himself are aiming for a PG-13 rating to ensure a large audience and I’ll even give you that this rating description seems accurate, in that it is as vaguely descriptive as any actual MPAA rating. I’m just saying that I can’t, in recent memory recall a movie that had a definite rating over three months before its drop date.

Agreed. It doesn’t seem sensical, but if it is right, you can’t help but wonder
