Who Is BJ Novak In AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2?

You know him as Ryan from NBC’s The Office and you’ve probably seen him in Inglorious Bastards (If you haven’t, where have you been? Living under a rock?) This picture however was posted online by Marc Webb, director of Amazing Spider-Man 2. So we’ve got to ask ourselves who is BJ Novak in ASM2?

We know from looking at the picture that he is not in College or High school. Could he be a scientist at Oscorp working to save the life of Norman Osborn? (filmjunk.com says we won’t see Norman as the Green Goblin until the 3rd ASM). By the emotion on his face we can tell he is up to no good or is he? If I was to take a guess I would say we we’re looking at a future villain, making a small but important appearance. Maybe Dr Michael Morbius who becomes “Morbius, the Living Vampire” or Alistair Smythe creator of the Spider Slayer robots? Either way pay attention May 2nd when ASM2 hits the theaters. BJ’s character could only have a small part but I can guarantee it will have a big impact to the ASM story line.
